Most people assume that this is something I say to get views, or that I must be delusional, but I assure you: it is TRUE.
How do I know? Well, I have a Bachelor of Music from the best music school in the world: Berklee College of Music and have been a vocal coach for 10 years.
I've worked with everyone; professional singers, athletes, actors, models and even moms who are fullfilling a chilhood dream.
During my time in LA, I've been lucky enough to train with some of the best:
Dave Stroud, Tyler Wysong, Frank Kelley, and Debra Byrd.
Growing up, I was always drawn to singing. I was obsessed with singing high notes, riffs, and belting. But being a natural baritone meant I was frequently unable to hit anywhere near the range of notes my vocal heroes could.
Many of the vocal coaches I worked with frequently told me that I “would never be able to sing high notes.” I almost quit, until in my senior year of high school, I came across a video on youtube explaining “mixed voice”...
The idea was simple: There’s a secret register of your voice that you have to train your vocal cords to access, and it can unlock a whole octave or more of range.
My mind was blown! I eventually honed my craft, mastered my mix and became able to sing ANYTHING I WANTED!
And here’s the thing- you can do it too!
It took me several years to accumulate the right tools and tricks to find my mix, which is why I wanted to create this course. The singing world tends to be gatekept, with coaches charging TONS of money to share just snippets of their knowledge in each lesson.
